Our high profile Federal Government client is seeking two Senior Business Analysts to lead requirements gathering and traceability activities, and to support program deliverables aligned with the Agency’s strategic objectives. It is expected that the successful candidates will hold active Positive Vetting Clearance (PV).
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Accountable for investigating business needs, problems and opportunities and documenting the findings and recommendation.
- Prepare or contribute to business cases, which define potential benefits and options for achieving these benefits through development of new or changed processes.
- Apply knowledge of business analysis methods and techniques to understand and articulate business processes and contribute to business outcomes.
- Assess and evaluate a range of artefact such as business requirements, architecture roadmap, specifications and feasibility studies.
- Analyse and decompose complex ICT business problems into manageable activities.
Essential Criteria:
- Demonstrated experience in planning and driving scope, requirements definition and prioritisation activities for large, complex initiatives.
- Demonstrated experience in establishing document to articulate requirements, standard operating procedures and complex flow via diagrams and pictorial representation.
- Understanding of Information Technology (IT) development principles and practices.
- Demonstrated experience in problem solving and critical thinking.
Desirable Criteria:
- Understanding of Cloud computing
- BABOK certification
