Senior Business Analyst

  • 6  - 12 months contracts, Multiple positions!
  • Location – Brisbane, QLD – hybrid work arrangement
  • Australian Citizens

Infinite Consulting is seeking experienced Senior Business Analysts for our esteemed Government Client. This is a 6-12 months contract with 2 positions available!

About the role:

As the Senior Business Analyst, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing key stakeholder relationships, lead and conduct business/technical workshops/meetings as required to define requirements, business processes, and ensure improved outcomes.
  • Obtain formal agreement from stakeholders on the scope of requirements.
  • Take ownership of solution design and work with various stakeholders to finalise a compatible design.
  • Contribute to organisational change through recommended improvements to existing business processes, practices, procedures and information systems.
  • Provide a high level of expertise in establishing and documenting ICT business and system requirements.
  • Apply and utilise business modelling methods to ensure results oriented deliverables.
  • Take ownership of development cycles, liaise with vendor’s development team, and ensure quality and timely delivery of agreed outcomes.

Role specific requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Senior Business Analyst role.
  • Ability to rapidly gain an understanding of business needs and translate business needs into updated process maps and user stories.
  • Ability to work effectively with little supervision and as part of a team in the design, preparation and delivery of solutions to clients.
  • Prior experience and knowledge of core ICT infrastructure services such as network and data protection.
  • Prior experience and knowledge of Azure cloud-based platforms, workloads and Software as a Services (SaaS) environments.
  • Demonstrated experience in identifying and validating multiple requirement types such as Business, systems, configuration and concept and experience modelling business processes using Business Process Modelling Notation (BPMN).
  • Demonstrated experience and practical understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and PRINCE2 Project Management methodologies. (SDLC & PRINCE2 Methodologies).
