Resolve Recruit is seeking experienced Senior Test Analysts to join a Commonwealth Government department dedicated to building a productive, resilient and sustainable economy enriched by science and technology.

In this role, you'll work across multiple high-impact projects. You'll be responsible for ensuring software quality through comprehensive manual testing, collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and maintaining rigorous testing standards that support critical government services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review business and functional requirements, and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams to design thorough test cases and scenarios
  • Conduct comprehensive manual testing across web-based applications, including functional, regression, integration and user acceptance testing
  • Follow best practice standards to identify, record and track defects using Azure DevOps with clear documentation of test plans and traceability matrices
  • Communicate testing progress and issues effectively with developers, product owners and business stakeholders
  • Participate in Agile delivery activities including sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives while suggesting process improvements
  • Validate digital products conform to Web Content Accessibility Guidelines and maintain test environments and data

Key Experience and Skills:

  • 5+ years of manual testing experience across broad domains, including desktop applications and cloud-based platforms
  • Expertise in developing detailed test artefacts, including comprehensive test plans, test cases and effective defect tracking processes
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in fast-paced, cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams
  • Strong understanding of Agile principles with demonstrated ability to contribute as a collaborative team member supporting iterative development
  • Experience with Azure DevOps for test management, defect tracking and documentation
  • Knowledge of accessibility testing and web-based application testing methodologies
  • Experience with or exposure to automation testing is highly desirable.
